Yoga? No I’m not good at that. I’m not flexible. I can’t stand on my head. I don’t know how to be all zen-y.
We’ve all been there, but every yoga enthusiast (or occaisionalist) has to start somewhere. No one is born ready to be a yoga instructor, but it’s not something to be scared of! I can’t touch my toes (working on that), but I still love to do yoga. It is incredible for the mind, body and soul. It’s a win-win-win!
So be mindful of yourself and give yoga a try. It can be done in the morning, evening, or between classes. All you need is a safe, quiet space and an open mind. To get started on your yoga journey you may want to invest in a mat to enhance your comfort, but they aren’t expensive! You can find mats at Winners, Walmart, even some superstores.
Don’t know how? There are always classes nearby, a lot may be free, or at least free to try. If you don’t have time for a class, you can always look up one of the instructional videos on youtube.
